The McMenon FAM544 is an armored variable area flow meter designed for service in high-stress and industrially rigorous environments. Encased in a robust protective housing, the FAM544 offers dependable flow measurement where process visibility, safety, and mechanical resilience are essential.
Its metal construction and protected internals make it ideal for applications where glass-tube meters are unsuitable, including chemical handling, oil and gas systems, and compressed air or gas monitoring. This armored VA meter delivers reliable, repeatable performance while supporting Eleven57’s mission to provide durable, efficient instrumentation that reduces operational risk and extends infrastructure life.

Features and Specifications
Offered with sanitary clamp or other hygienic fittings (e.g. DIN 11851) for ½″ to 4″ sizes. The meter can be sterilized or cleaned in place due to its crevice-free construction. Flow range and performance mirror the standard model: up to ~120 m³/h water, pressures to 100 bar, and temperatures to 400 °C (often limited by gasket materials) – though accuracy remains Class 1.6 in most cases. Polished internals and FDA-compliant seal materials are used for sanitary compliance.
